All centers offer same day immigration exams during weekdays and weekends, no appointment needed. When you apply for a green card (adjustment of status) in the United States, you usually need to have a medical examination. The exam must be done by a doctor who is authorized by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). USCIS designates certain doctors (also known as civil surgeons) to perform the medical exam required for most Green Card applicants. Patients must bring:

  • If you cannot speak English, an interpreter must be brought along to your visit.
  • Passport with city of birth. If city of birth is not present on passport, other documentation must be brought along to show this information
  • Alien Number. This can be found on work permit or prior immigration papers.
  • Vaccination records, either from US or other countries.
  • Bloodwork showing immunization status.
  • Marriage Certificate if applying for Green card through marriage.

Required Vaccines and Sexually Transmitted Disease Testing:

  • Polio Vaccine is mandatory, TDAP in past 10 years with proof, From October 1st to March 31st a is Flu shot required.
  • After blood work results come back: MMR, Varicella, Titers, TB Gold, and Hep B, patients may need these additional immunizations
  • For Hep B: from birth until 59, booster may be required
  • HIV and Syphilis : from birth till 44 years old
  • From 18-24 years of age, Gomorrah PCR is required
